Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms before booking a charter or lake tour with Mallacoota Fishing Charters and Tours.
Bookings & Deposits
All charters and lake tours are booked by request through our online booking form. A deposit is required to confirm your date. The remaining balance is payable on the day of the charter. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Mallacoota Fishing Charters and Tours.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours, no-shows or late arrivals forfeit the deposit. If Brock cancels due to unsafe weather or mechanical issues, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund.
Weather & Safety
The skipper has sole discretion to delay, alter or cancel a trip for safety reasons. The Mallacoota lake system is generally well protected, but unsafe conditions can still occur. Passengers must follow all safety instructions, including wearing life jackets when directed.
Participant Requirements
Passengers must be medically and physically fit to board a small fishing boat. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. A current Victorian Recreational Fishing Licence is required for anglers aged 18 to 69.
Liability
Participation in boating and fishing activities involves inherent risks. All passengers must read and agree to the Charter Waiver & Media Release before boarding. Mallacoota Fishing Charters and Tours, Brock York and the vessel owner are not liable for any injury, loss or damage except where required by law.
Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken during your charter for promotional use, including on social media and this website. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please tell the skipper before the trip begins. Full details are in the Charter Waiver & Media Release.
Fishing Rules
All fishing is conducted in line with Victorian Fisheries regulations, including size and bag limits. The skipper reserves the right to release fish that do not meet legal requirements.
